9

9.

Quite a boring number really.

Casually just woken up from a nap.

Woke up to see a cupcake on TV. Now I am craving one.

Enough about me, on with the blog....

Now, unfortunately I still cannot show you any pics from the balloon release with kids in.There is a child at the front of all the pics from Swaffield Primary School whose pic cannot be published. *sigh* But we are working on it. For now I can show you some pics of our team plus some pretty balloon pics as well as some inspiring notes to Akiki. (child soldier)

Hope you enjoyed looking at them. We all had a great day and have raised £800 so far.

My next step on the agenda is to get some media attention and I am working hard and have 3 magazines on my side at the mo along with the 'Around Burntwood' newsletter and an article on the Envision website.

Now, I always thought that journalists were very professional so I tried really hard to send very formal e mails, until today when I received an e mail saying "Sorry-getting my Lucys mixed up" That is all it said. Enough said.

We are having a final count of all the money raised so far for War Child tomorrow so I shall give you the total asap. I have my giant cheque ready (one of the privileges of having a mum who works in the bank).

I seem to have mentioned 'Envision' a lot recently so just for those of you who don't know; Envision are an organisation who help young people to help others. http://www.envision.org.uk/about They have all been very helpful during our time raising money for War Child. AND they are also following this blog. AND my Twitter. AND Tug of War's Twitter. So here I go again-please follow this blog, or me on Twitter @lucyedyer or us on Twitter @Tug_Of_War_, every follow helps (plus Sadiq Khan follows us)!

I have given Envision my article about the balloon release which should be posted soon (Yes, calm down! I will send you the link) but they have also sent me some questions that they would like me to answer so they can find out more about me and my team so I best get cracking on that!

Thanks again for reading amigas and amigos.

I shall love you and leave you (for now anyways) (thats what my Mum always says on the phone)

xoxo (Gossip Girl)
